His skill sets include superior management and leadership skills, excellent manual boat handling abilities and a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge acquired across a wide range of demanding roles over 27 years experience at sea in command and management roles. Peter was elected to council with the Nautical Institute in June 2010. and is also involved with the IMO  Working Parties  and is a member of the advisory panel through The Nautical Institute as an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation). for Health and Safety and Environmental Protection of The Marine Environment.
